The Cold Steel Spike, was designed by Barry Dawson, is a weapon pared down to its bare fundamentals. Its thick, narrow blade is distal narrowed and flat ground to a zero edge. This creates an exclusive cross section that allows both penetration of the tip and cutting power formerly unheard of in such a thick and narrow cutting edge.
The essential handle of the Cold Steel Spike respects its modest design. It has been vigilantly wrought out of genuine steel; cord wrapped and had its razor-sharp edges "melted" to prevent soreness of the hand.
