Boker Trance or Bombs? I'll Take One of Each
I want to tell you a little story about a friend of mine that we’ll call “Herbert”. Herbert was a knife fanatic. I find no fault with this as I also foam at the mouth when I stumble upon a new and 
sleek knife. Herbert was a fan of Boker knives and kept with him a Boker Trance at all times.

Herbert was doing some contract work for a particular government agency a few years ago. This job took him and his Boker Trance to the lovely and scenic sands of Afghanistan. We will not get too detailed as to the exact location of Herbert and his Boker Trance as it tends to make Herbert a bit uncomfortable. I could not imagine why.
Now Herbert was outside of a major village checking out some tourist spots about the surrounding desert. Herbert kept his Boker Trance secured in a special pocket that rested very discreetly on his belt line. He never went sight seeing without his Boker Trance.
Herbert ran upon a group of locals who were clad in the
most menacing of attire. The group of five to six individuals was wearing the latest in middle-eastern garb and their faces were concealed in black cloth. This is typically worn by those participants and members of the Taliban party. Now, the Taliban are a unique people in that they seem to fear very little. The Boker Trance that quickly made its way into Herbert’s hand would do little to offend or frighten this group of desert dwellers.
Now Herbert was not one to go without education on the local area before dwelling outward. He knew for a fact that the American “tourist” was not always welcomed warmly by the Taliban. He also knew that his thick beard would not do well for blending disguising his obvious American features with the local crowd when they were standing within ten feet. So, Herbert did what anyone would do. He gripped his Boker Trance tightly, made a quick one-hundred and eighty degree turn and sprinted with everything he had to put a massive amount of desert between him and the Taliban gang.
The Taliban, on the other hand, did not wish Herbert to flee without a nice chat over some Afghani coffee. And, we all know that they were dying to test the blade of his Boker Trance. I mean, who wouldn’t? So, they immediately raised their assault rifles, gifts of the former Soviet invasion, and began sending bursts of lead in Herbert’s direction. Some may take this offensively. Herbert did not. He continued to sprint, his lungs burning like furnaces breathing in the hot desert air. He gripped
tighter on his Boker Trance not in anger, but in flattery. This group of Taliban fighters felt him of so much importance that they fully intended on shooting up several magazines worth of ammunition. This could be their way of expressing their envy over his Boker Trance.
Herbert made his way into a rocky ravine where he found a cave to duck into and hide for a bit. He had out run the Taliban and felt that it was important for him to catch his breath. In doing so, he utilized his Boker Trance to give himself a nice manicure. The pedicure would have to wait as it may not be wise to be without footwear in place when the Afghanis arrive to take him and his Boker Trance.
Herbert spent several days hiding amongst the rocks and caves. He rationed what little water he had with him and used his Boker Trance to prepare tasty meals derived from the desert reptilian species. Have you ever tasted frog legs?
Anyway, Herbert attributes much of his survival to his quick thinking, his trustee Boker Trance and the Air Force bombers who leveled the area with very loud bombs. He doesn’t think he could have survived without his Boker Trance tucked away on his belt line.
Moral of the story… if a group of individuals with concealed faces begin to fire assault weapons at you, do not try to converse or “negotiate” with them. Simply run and call your local Air Force attack base.
